Job Description

WSi Healthcare Personnel is seeking a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant to support partner clinics and healthcare facilities. In this role, you'll room patients, obtain vitals, assist with exams and procedures, perform injections, EKGs, and basic lab tasks, and maintain accurate EMR documentation. You'll coordinate scheduling, manage front-desk duties as needed, and ensure exam rooms and equipment are clean and stocked. Responsibilities Room patients and obtain vital signs and medical histories Assist providers with exams, procedures, injections, and EKGs Perform basic lab tasks such as specimen collection and processing Document care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) Support scheduling, check-in, and other front-desk functions Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and follow infection control protocols Coordinate with nurses, providers, and staff to support patient flow Provide patient instructions and education as directed by providers Required Skills Vital signs measurement Phlebotomy EKG administration Injections and immunizations Electronic health records (EHR) Patient scheduling Medical terminology Clinical documentation Infection control Insurance and billing basics
