Job Description

We are currently seeking a full-time Technician or Medical Assistant to assist our Providers in our medical office by working up patients, performing diagnostic tests, and documenting results. This position is an excellent opportunity for a competent and highly-motivated individual to join our growing team. MA's and CNA's encouraged to apply - training provided. Hiring for attitude and passion to learn. Skills can be taught. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Working patients up: Auto-refraction, Lensometry, taking history and chief complaints, vision, confrontations, motilities, pressure, dilating and refraction.
Testing:
Photos, Visual Fields and Measurements
  • Assisting with front office duties which include answering phones, scheduling patient appointments, expediting the check in and checkout process when front desk personnel are busy and occasionally covering lunches.
  • Contact lens work up and ordering
  • Surgery scheduling and coordinating
  • Ordering medical supplies
  • Stocking and cleaning rooms
  • Assisting providers with procedures and setting up for procedures Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One year of experience in health care or customer service setting preferred
