Summary We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team at Veros Health. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our mission to enhance health outcomes through effective biologic therapies. This position is essential for ensuring seamless operations within our healthcare facility. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers in delivering patient care by preparing examination rooms and ensuring necessary supplies are available. Perform basic clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, administering injections, and assisting with procedures as needed. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Coordinate patient appointments and follow-up visits to ensure continuity of care. Educate patients about treatment plans, medications, and health maintenance strategies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and streamline care processes. Requirements Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar healthcare role is preferred. Strong knowledge of outpatient procedures and patient care protocols. Familiarity with medical coding and billing practices is a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals. Basic understanding of physiology and anatomy relevant to patient care.
