Stanislaw Facial Plastic Surgery Center, LLC, established in 2001 by Dr. Paul Stanislaw, Jr., MD, is a leading solo medical practice specializing in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. We are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and are looking to expand our team.
Job Description:
We are seeking a personable and articulate individual to serve as the first point of contact for our patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a comprehensive understanding of our practice offerings to effectively schedule appointments and assist with patient inquiries. This role also includes medical assistant responsibilities such as preparing rooms for the doctor, assisting in surgery, sterilizing medical instruments, stocking rooms, and maintaining inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer incoming phone calls promptly and courteously. Provide detailed information about the practice's services and procedures to prospective patients. Schedule appointments accurately and efficiently using our scheduling system. Manage patient inquiries and direct them to the appropriate resources or staff members. Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor to ensure a positive patient experience. Handle administrative tasks such as updating patient records and managing appointment reminders. Prepare rooms for the doctor and keep rooms stocked. Assist in surgery/procedures. Sterilize Medical Instruments. Keep inventory of medical supplies.
Qualifications:
Excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to understand and clearly explain the services offered by the practice. Strong customer service skills and a patient-centric approach. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with medical office software and scheduling systems is a plus. Previous experience in a medical office or customer service role preferred.
