Job Summary
  • Prepares patient for examination and treatment, while also performing advanced administrative and clerical duties with a high degree of proficiency.
Responsibilities:
  • Receives, greets and triages patients in person or on the telephone
  • Verifies Insurance
  • Escorts patient to exam room, prepares patient for examination, and documents presenting problems.
  • Records appropriate information in patient's chart that is not covered by provider documentation
  • Take vital signs and records in patient's chart
  • Assist the physician with appointments
  • Answers telephone calls and schedules appointments
