Salary commensurate with experience. Background check and professional references required. Must be able to work in all four office locations. Will cross train for front desk.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures
  • Prepare patients for medical tests and procedures and occasionally assist on and off exam table as needed.
  • Take and record patient history and vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
  • Administer medications as directed by healthcare provider
  • Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens
  • Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
  • Must be able to occasionally lift 20lbs while stocking supplies and moving equipment.
  • Restock patient rooms
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records and advise test results
  • Provide patient education and instructions as directed by healthcare provider
Experience:
  • Previous experience as a Medical Assistant
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems preferably EPIC
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
