About the role The Medical Assistant supports clinical operations by ensuring that every patient encounter is executed with precision, care, and efficiency — bridging the gap between patient experience and clinical quality. he MA owns the quality of pre-visit readiness, encounter flow, documentation accuracy, and post-visit follow-through. What you'll do Prepare rooms, supplies, and equipment for patient visits. Greet and room patients; record vitals and histories accurately in the EHR. Assist providers during exams and procedures. Collect and process specimens; handle vaccines and medications per protocol. Maintain stock, organize supplies, and ensure cleanliness and safety. Keep documentation accurate and complete before each visit is closed. Support smooth patient flow and communicate delays or issues quickly. Coordinate with front desk and providers to ensure a seamless visit. Follow all safety, infection control, and privacy standards. Contribute to a calm, professional, and team-oriented environment. Qualifications 2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant in an outpatient or clinical setting. Proven skill with EHR documentation and maintaining accuracy in fast-paced environments. Confidence supporting providers during exams, procedures, and patient interactions. Calm under pressure, focused on patient care. Strong communication and collaboration skills; you anticipate needs and keep things moving. Reliability and accountability. Curiosity to improve processes and make each day run smoother.
