Job Description
Job Overview The Medical Assistant works alongside a successful Providers to support the clinical needs of the practice. The Medical Assistant position may also support the Front Office with administrative tasks, as needed, and will be cross-trained to be a valuable member of both the front and back-office teams. Responsibilities
- Preparing patients for provider examinations.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring they are clean and well-stocked.
- Document patient histories, vital signs, and other relevant information accurately.
- Perform basic laboratory tests such as urinalysis and strep tests. EKG and Spirometry.
- Scheduling and obtaining prior authorization for radiology appointment Cross train and cover front desk and on phones as needed.
