Norwalk Community Health Center is looking for a talented Medical Assistant that is versitile in the medical assistance space and care coordination to step into our culturally diverse and team-based southern CT facilities located in Fairfield County. We are looking for a Medical Assistant who is passionate, driven, independent and aspires to assist in providing the best quality care day in and day out. School Based Health Centers (SBHC) Reports to: Director of Clinical Operations & Healthcare Innovation About the Role Norwalk Community Health Center (NCHC) is seeking a motivated and compassionate Medical Assistant to serve as the Health Administrative Coordinator at our Family Health & Wellness Center and Kendall School Based Health & Wellness Center. Join a multi-disciplinary team committed to both individual and community health. Schedule Full-time (Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm) One late night per week (Thursday, 11am-8pm) Follows the Norwalk Public School calendar for closures. Responsibilities Complete registration and eligibility for all patients accessing services. Support families with physicals, sports physicals, and primary care. Coordinate care in an integrated medical and behavioral health model. Contribute to both individual patient care and population health initiatives. What We're Looking For Medical Assistant Certification (required) Excellent communication and organizational skills Comfort working in a team-based, patient-centered environment Ability to manage time, solve problems, and meet deadlines Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required This is an opportunity to make a lasting difference in the Greater Norwalk community while building a career within a forward-thinking health system.
