Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature. Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are ready for patient visits. Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy (blood draws), medication administration, and basic life support procedures in accordance with safety protocols. Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) accurately by documenting patient information, medical histories, treatment plans, and ICD coding for diagnoses. Support medical office management through scheduling appointments, verifying insurance details, and maintaining organized medical records. Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions, offering instructions on medication use or procedures, and ensuring patients feel comfortable and informed. Perform EKG Call in patient medications. Skills Proficiency in medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling and managing electronic health records (EMR/EHR). Experience with phlebotomy, medication administration, vital signs collection, and basic physiology knowledge. Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient needs. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical documentation best practices. Should be able to communicate in Spanish but not manatory.
