(PRIMARY CARE) In our patient-centered, outcomes-driven environment, the Certified Medical Assistant supports patients through both in-office clinical duties and coordinated care beyond the visit. Responsibilities may include rooming patients, obtaining medical history, vitals, administering injections / immunizations, performing phlebotomy and specimen collection, conducting EKGs, point-of-care testing, assisting with minor in-office procedures, performing wound care / dressing changes, and administering medications per provider protocol and standing orders. The MA also ensures continuity of care by coordinating referrals / follow-up, supporting chronic disease management, assisting with prior authorizations, and partnering with the extended care team to close care gaps and improve patient outcomes.WHO WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE
