In this vital role, you will provide exceptional support in outpatient and inpatient settings, ensuring smooth operations across various medical specialties including dermatology, emergency medicine, hospital medicine, and geriatrics. Your proactive approach and clinical skills will help deliver top-tier patient experiences while maintaining accurate medical documentation and supporting clinical workflows. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, vital signs measurement, and medical history documentation using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, including phlebotomy, medication administration, and basic life support (BLS) protocols. Manage medical records, ensure accurate ICD coding, and document all patient interactions thoroughly in EMR/EHR platforms. Support clinical procedures such as anatomy and physiology assessments, pharmacology management, and outpatient or inpatient care activities. Conduct patient education on treatment plans, medication usage, and post-procedure care while providing excellent patient service. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, adhere to infection control standards, and assist with hospital experience requirements including Level I Trauma Center or Level II Trauma Center protocols. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in urgent care settings or emergency medicine environments to deliver prompt and effective patient care. Experience Proven medical office experience with a strong foundation in medical assisting practices across outpatient and inpatient settings. Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems, electronic health records management, and medical documentation processes. Familiarity with cardiology procedures, hospital medicine protocols, urgent care workflows, and geriatrics patient needs. Knowledge of pharmacology principles, ICD coding standards, anatomy and physiology fundamentals, and basic life support certification. Previous roles involving phlebotomy, medication administration, medical records management, or OR experience are highly valued. Experience working within Level I or Level II trauma centers or emergency medicine environments enhances your candidacy.
