Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support patient care in a busy pediatric practice. This role involves providing comprehensive medical support in fast-paced environment. The Certified Medical Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality patient service, accurate documentation, and efficient clinical operations. Responsibilities Assist with patient intake processes, including collecting medical histories and recording vital signs Prepare patients for examinations and procedures in outpatient setting Support physician and healthcare providers with clinical tasks such as medication administration, specimen collection, and basic clinical procedures Operate EHR systems accurately to document patient information, ICD coding, and treatment plans Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment adhering to safety protocols Assist with patient education on medication use, treatment plans, and health maintenance strategies • Requirements Valid Certified Medical Assistant certification from an accredited program Prior medical experience preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding, and medication administration Experience working with EHR systems and medical administrative support functions Strong patient service skills with the ability to handle diverse patient populations Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environment Excellent communication skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and patient safety
