Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our medical staff and ensuring that patients receive high-quality care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, vital signs monitoring, and administrative support within a medical environment. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining medical history and ensuring they are comfortable. Perform basic laboratory tests and administer medications as directed by physicians. Maintain accurate patient records and manage electronic health systems. Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment. Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care plans and instructions. Qualifications Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus. Experience in outpatient medical offices is a plus. Familiarity with OBGYN medical-surgical procedures is beneficial. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively is essential. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written is essential.
