Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and supporting medical administrative functions. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the well-being of patients in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform various clinical tasks under the supervision of healthcare professionals, including taking patient vital signs, recording medical histories, and assisting with examinations
  • Prepare patients for procedures and assist with minor surgical procedures
  • Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
  • Conduct basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing
  • Perform medical administrative support duties such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and managing billing processes
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Provide exceptional patient service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Previous experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is highly desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and other staff members
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
