Duties Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical history and recording vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature Assist with clinical tasks such as administering medications, creating lab orders, preparing specialist referrals, and refilling prescriptions. Support providers and nurses with procedures like medication administration, IV patient preparation, and lab draws and specimen preparation. Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems accurately by documenting patient encounters, ICD coding for diagnoses, and updating medical records in real-time Prepare examination rooms by ensuring cleanliness, sterilization, and readiness. Experience Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in medical office setting.
