Florida Cosmetic Center is seeking an experienced, certified Medical Assistant to join our growing aesthetic and medical practice in Celebration, FL. We are looking for a polished, professional, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in providing an exceptional patient experience. Because our practice specializes in aesthetic and cosmetic medicine, the ideal candidate should have a genuine interest in aesthetics, skincare, cosmetic treatments, and the overall patient experience. This is not an entry-level Medical Assistant position. Candidates must have prior hands-on clinical experience, a recognized Medical Assistant certification, and be comfortable working directly with patients and assisting with medical procedures. Florida Cosmetic Center is a fully digital office. All charting, scheduling, lab processing, treatment documentation, and patient communication are managed through our EMR and computer systems. Candidates must be comfortable working on a computer throughout the day and able to document accurately, efficiently, and professionally. Comprehensive training on our specific procedures, protocols, equipment, and office systems will be provided. Position Type Full-Time Monday-Friday with some weekend availability required Key Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and patients for medical and aesthetic procedures Assist the physician during medical and cosmetic procedures Accurately document patient information, treatments, and clinical notes in the EMR Manage electronic patient records and treatment documentation Process lab orders and assist with reviewing and organizing results Provide patients with clear pre- and post-procedure instructions Maintain proper sterile technique and treatment room organization Manage medical inventory, supplies, and room readiness Support patient flow and front desk responsibilities when needed Maintain a professional, welcoming, and polished presence when interacting with patients Learn and become knowledgeable about the aesthetic treatments and services offered by the practice Required Qualifications Current Medical Assistant certification Minimum 1 year of hands-on clinical Medical Assistant experience Strong clinical skills and confidence working directly with patients Comfortable working in a fully electronic and computer-based environment Experience with EMR systems Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills Professional, polished communication and demeanor Strong interpersonal and patient-service skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Genuine interest in aesthetics, cosmetic medicine, skincare, and aesthetic procedures Willingness to learn new procedures, technologies, and treatment protocols Must be available to work occasional weekends Preferred Experience Previous experience in an aesthetic, cosmetic, dermatology, plastic surgery, or medspa setting Phlebotomy experience Experience assisting with in-office medical or aesthetic procedures Experience in a specialty or physician-led medical practice Who We're Looking For The ideal candidate is confident, personable, polished, and professional.
