Job Description
Job Summary Busy Neurology practice seeking a full- time medical assistant for 1 provider. The Medical Assistant is responsible for escorting patients to exam room and preparing everything necessary for medical provider, such as uploading/printing MRIs and lab reports, preparing injections for nerve blocks and botox, setting up medical equipment. Takes vitals, patient's demographic and social history and ensure all quality metrics are met and updated in the patient's chart. Responsible for managing the messages for the providers, responding to patient's requests and managing medications and medical supplies inventory. Responsibilities Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting during procedures. Administer medications as directed by physicians and ensure proper documentation. Maintain accurate patient records and manage clinic schedules. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment. Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers to enhance patient care. Experience Previous experience in a medical assistant role or relevant clinical setting is preferred. Familiarity with neurology preferred Knowledge of anatomy and experience with medication administration are essential skills for this position. Experience in a clinic setting is beneficial, particularly in managing patient care effectively.
