Medical Assistant (Bilingual - English/Spanish)

Full-Time About Us We are a growing clinical research site dedicated to helping bring new medications and treatments to patients through carefully conducted research studies. Clinical research allows volunteers to participate in studies that help doctors and scientists determine if new treatments are safe and effective before they become widely available. We are looking for a compassionate, organized, and motivated Medical Assistant who enjoys working with patients and being part of a team that makes a difference. Responsibilities Welcome and assist study participants during clinic visits. Obtain and document vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, height, weight, etc.). Perform 12-lead EKGs accurately. Prepare exam rooms and ensure they are clean and fully stocked. Assist Clinical Research Coordinators with study visits and participant flow. Escort participants throughout their appointments and help ensure a positive experience. Collect and document medical information accurately. Assist with blood draws and specimen processing (preferred but not required). Maintain accurate medical records and documentation. Follow study protocols, clinic policies, and HIPAA regulations. Perform other clinical and administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications Medical Assistant certification or relevant clinical experience preferred. Experience taking vital signs and performing EKGs is required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Comfortable working in a fast-paced medical environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient with electronic medical records (EMR) and basic computer skills.
