Job Summary Join our team as a Medical Assistant. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional support across outpatient settings in a cardiology and vascular surgery practice. Responsibilities Perform patient intake by collecting comprehensive medical histories and accurately recording vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and oximetry Our Medical Assistanst will be required to travel to both our Davenport and our Winter Haven offices. Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently to document patient encounters, update medical histories, and ensure compliance with privacy regulations. Experience with EClinical is a strong positive factor in ones favor. Prepare examination rooms and ensuring all necessary supplies are available for patient care. Facilitate patient education on medication use, post-procedure care, and health maintenance strategies to promote ongoing wellness. Requirements Proven experience working in clinical settings. (Cardiology preferred but not required) Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is a plus. Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for documentation and data management. Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations including geriatrics. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced settings. Pay:

$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
