Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and organized medical assistant to join our team. This role includes some front office responsibilities also. This position is essential to keeping our clinic running smoothly and delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment. Must be able to commute between both office locations; Englewood and North Port, FL. Duties (Medical Assistant) Escort patients to exam rooms, record vital signs, and document chief complaints into EHR. Setting up exam rooms with necessary podiatry instruments, medical supplies, and equipment tailored to specific patient procedures. Clean, sanitize, and restock exam rooms to ensure optimal readiness for upcoming appointments. Manage and maintain patient files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in health information management. Assist with medical office tasks, including answering incoming phone calls, scheduling patient visits, verifying insurance benefits, and addressing patient inquiries as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in a clinic or medical office setting is preferred. Proficiency in office practices and procedures. Familiarity with coding systems such as ICD-10 is a plus. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
