The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in clinical support, patient care, injection administration and time management. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient clinic operations, delivering exceptional patient service, and supporting healthcare providers with clinical and administrative tasks. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately. Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, oxygen concentration and respiration rates with accuracy. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort throughout their visit. Support physicians with clinical tasks such as medication administration, X-ray procedures, allergy skin testing and pulmonary function testing. Maintain accurate documentation within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, including ICD coding for diagnoses and procedures. Manage medical supplies inventory, assist with ensuring clinical areas are clean and organized according to safety standards. Qualifications >1 year clinical experience as a medical assistant. Familiarity with EHR systems for accurate documentation and efficient workflow management. Experience working within hospital settings including Level I or Level II trauma centers is preferred; familiarity with inpatient care protocols is essential. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to provide compassionate patient service and collaborate effectively with the team.
