Starting at $17.00/hour (Commensurate with experience) About the Practice We are a high-volume, patient-centered medical practice committed to clinical excellence and medical education. Our attending physician holds active clinical credentials and medical staff privileges at HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital , an established ACGME-accredited teaching hospital. We actively welcome and mentor Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs / IMGs) seeking valuable, high-yield U.S. clinical experience (USCE) to strengthen their residency applications. Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Foreign Medical Graduate (FMG) or Clinical Assistant to join our practice. This role provides direct patient contact, exposure to academic-level clinical standards, and daily working interaction with a residency-affiliated attending physician.
Key Highlight:
A personalized, detailed Letter of Recommendation (LOR) for the
ERAS/NRMP
residency application cycle will be provided upon successful completion of a minimum of 6 months of continuous employment and strong clinical performance.
Key Responsibilities Patient Intake & Vitals:
Obtain accurate chief complaints, medical histories, vital signs, and medication reconciliations.
Clinical Documentation:
Assist the attending physician with electronic health record (EHR) charting, progress notes, and diagnostic orders.
Care Coordination:
Manage lab/imaging orders, follow-up scheduling, prescription refills, and specialist referrals.
Clinic Operations:
Ensure exam rooms are sanitized, stocked, and prepared according to clinical standards.
Qualifications & Requirements Education:
MD/DO degree from an international medical school (FMG / IMG status).
Skills:
Solid clinical knowledge, strong communication skills, and familiarity with EHR systems.
USMLE:
Completion or active preparation for USMLE Step 1 / Step 2 CK is preferred.
Professionalism:
