This vital role combines patient interaction, medical administrative support, and clinical assistance to ensure smooth operations within outpatient clinics, hospital medicine units, or specialty departments such as dermatology, urgent care, or internal medicine. Your energetic approach will help create a welcoming environment for patients while supporting healthcare providers with essential clinical tasks. Paid positions are available, emphasizing our commitment to valuing every team member's contribution. Candidate must be able to translate from Spanish to English Duties Greet and check-in patients promptly, ensuring a positive first impression and smooth intake process Collect patient information, verify insurance details, and update electronic health record (EHR) systems accurately Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiratory rate to assist in patient assessments Assist healthcare providers with clinical procedures including medication administration. Support patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and providing compassionate service throughout their visit Manage appointment scheduling, follow-up reminders, and coordinate referrals or laboratory tests with precision Maintain organized medical records with accurate ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases) for billing and documentation purposes Skills Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and hospital medicine practices Familiarity with EHR systems and medical administrative support functions including intake procedures and ICD coding Ability to perform vital signs measurement accurately and assist with inpatient or outpatient procedures in emergency medicine or surgical environments Excellent patient service skills with a caring attitude to enhance patient experience and comfort Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environment.
