Busy Family Medical Clinic looking for an MA to join our team of health professionals who are dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal health. Our MA's will help our patients manage their health and improve the quality of their lives through one-on-one interaction. We're looking for an independent, motivated professional with experience in primary care services and the ability to work within a team environment. The successful candidate will also have strong communication skills, medical expertise and an ability to work on multiple projects with varying deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Take vital signs, prepare patients for examinations, and assist healthcare professionals during procedures Collect and prepare laboratory specimens or perform basic lab tests. Responsible for administering medications and injections as directed by physicians. Provide education to patients regarding preventive healthcare measures, medication usage, and post-treatment care. Ensure that medical instruments and equipment are sterilized and maintained in a clean and safe environment. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including documenting patient histories, test results, and treatment plans. Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow, ensuring that the clinic operates efficiently. Handle insurance verification, coding, and billing processes, which are essential for the financial operations of healthcare facilities. Serve as a point of contact between patients and healthcare providers, answering phones and managing patient inquiries.
