Medical Assistant — Chiropractic & Rehabilitation Clinic (Bilingual) Florida Wellness and Rehabilitation Center of Homestead Homestead, FL | Full-Time | $18-$22 per hour About Us Florida Wellness and Rehabilitation Center of Homestead is a multidisciplinary clinic providing chiropractic care, medical evaluation and management, and rehabilitative therapy to patients recovering from injury. Our care team works side by side — chiropractor, ARNP, and clinical support staff — to move patients through a structured treatment plan from evaluation to discharge. The Role We are hiring a full-time Medical Assistant to support our treating Chiropractor and ARNP. This is a hands-on, patient-facing role. You will spend most of your day on the treatment floor administering physiotherapy modalities and supervising patients through prescribed therapeutic exercise, not sitting at a desk. What You'll Do Administer physiotherapy modalities as prescribed by the treating Chiropractor — electrical stimulation, ultrasound, mechanical traction, hot/cold therapy, vasopneumatic devices, and massage/manual therapy per protocol Set up, instruct, and monitor patients through prescribed therapeutic exercise programs, correcting form and progressing patients according to the treatment plan Assist the Chiropractor and ARNP during initial evaluations, re-evaluations, and follow-up visits Room patients, take and record vitals, and document chief complaints and history Document all treatment rendered in the EMR accurately and on the same day of service Prepare and turn over treatment rooms and equipment; maintain clean, stocked, and compliant therapy areas Communicate patient progress, complaints, and red flags to the treating provider promptly Support front-of-house flow so patients move through their visit on schedule What You Need Medical Assistant certification or diploma from an accredited program (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent) — required Fully bilingual in English and Spanish — required; you will communicate with patients in both languages daily Comfortable with hands-on patient care and on your feet for most of the shift Able to safely assist patients with mobility limitations Competent with EMR documentation and basic computer systems Reliable, punctual, and able to keep pace in a busy treatment floor environment Preferred Prior experience in a chiropractic, physical therapy, orthopedic, or personal injury clinic Hands-on experience with physiotherapy modalities and therapeutic exercise Familiarity with personal injury / auto accident (PIP) documentation standards Schedule Full-time, Monday through Friday. Clinic hours require availability for both morning and afternoon patient blocks.
