Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Certified Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care, support medical professionals, and ensure smooth clinical operations. Your expertise in medical assisting, will help deliver top-quality healthcare experiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your skills directly impact patient outcomes and satisfaction. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments in Primary Care. Take and record vital signs accurately; perform patient intake and prepare patients for examinations or procedures. Collect specimens such as blood samples through phlebotomy and prepare them for laboratory testing. Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) efficiently, ensuring precise documentation of patient information, medical history, medication administration, and procedural notes. Provide patient education on medication usage, treatment plans, and health maintenance strategies while demonstrating excellent patient service skills.. Requirements Valid certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program; experience in outpatient or inpatient settings for a minimun of 2 years. Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards. Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems; familiarity with electronic health records management is essential. Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques and specimen handling; basic life support (BLS) certification required. Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, ICD coding, and medical assisting best practices. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse populations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast pased enviroment.
