Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Perform administrative and clinical tasks to support healthcare professionals
  • Take and record patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Assist with patient examinations and procedures
  • Prepare and administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
  • Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing
  • Perform basic laboratory tests, such as urinalysis and blood glucose monitoring
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
  • Provide patient education on various medical conditions and treatments
Experience:
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and basic life support
  • Proficiency in performing clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and collecting lab specimens
  • Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred
  • Familiarity with medical authorization
  • Ability to operate X-ray equipment for limited scope procedures is a plus This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
