Medical Assistant Jupiter, FL Pay Rate:
$20/hour The Medical Assistant 2 will support physicians and care teams while serving as a trusted, bilingual point of contact for patients. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative outpatient environment. Medical Assistant 2
Responsibilities:
Room and prepare patients for appointments Obtain and record vital signs Discuss symptoms and gather patient information Enter information into Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Administer injections as permitted by certification Perform diagnostic testing Collect specimens and laboratory samples Perform blood draws and phlebotomy procedures Sterilize and clean medical equipment Prepare and maintain examination rooms Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff Medical Assistant 2
Qualifications:
1-3 years of Medical Assistant experience in a back-office/direct patient care setting Bilingual in English and Spanish Current Medical Assistant certification or registration (CMA/RMA) Current CPR Certification Less than 2 years of professional leadership experience Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook Basic computer skills #INDHS
