Job Description

Office Hours/ Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM -5:00 PM Medical Assistant Are you a compassionate and hardworking "people person" who finds joy in helping others? Then we have some good news for you: Our company is now hiring Medical Assistants! Your Role Our Medical Assistants are mainly responsible for preparing patients for each visit by performing preliminary vitals, interviewing patients, and assisting providers with set ups for minor procedures. But that's not all!
Our MAs also:
o Prepare charts prior to each visit to ensure that all consults, labs, and records are available o Maintain the cleanliness and organization of exams rooms o Escort patients to exams rooms and obtain history, Chief Complaint, and vitals o Prepare and administer mediations as directed by the physician o Collect, log, and prepare all lab specimens efficiently o Communicate physicians' instructions to patients o Assist physicians during exams and treatment o Perform EKGs, Spirometry testing, Ear lavages, Holter Monitors and use O2 equipment o Verify drug refills requests and communicate with pharmacies o Clean and sterilize instruments in compliance with OSHA and Health Dept. standards o Change wound dressings o Review inventory monthly and order supplies as needed o Contact medical facilities to schedule testing or admissions as directed by physicians o Ensure that patients' needs are met and o Demonstrate strong customer service skills to make patients feel comfortable If you're eager to learn and grow as a Medical Assistant in a fast-paced environment, we offer extensive hands-on training! MUST HAVES
