- Role Overview
- As a Medical Assistant or LPN, you will support clinical operations by assisting providers and delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring efficient workflows within the practice.
- Key responsibilities include:
- + Assisting providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments + Obtaining patient histories and preparing patients for visits + Performing routine lab procedures and preparing specimens for transport to the lab + Following up on test orders and communicating results to providers and patients + Maintaining patient education materials + Creating and updating patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) + Maintaining medical equipment and clinical supplies + Ensuring compliance with OSHA and CLIA regulations + Performing other duties as assigned ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ •Qualifications•Education•
Required:
- + High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Preferred:
- + Completion of a Medical Assistant program or related technical training
- Experience
Preferred:
- + Medical Assistant experience ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
- Licensure / Certification
Required:
- + Approved Medical Assistant Certification within six (6) months of hire OR proof of active license/certification as one of the following: + EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) + NREMT (Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician) + Paramedic + Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
