We are an autonomous Nurse Practitioners practice. Our team is collaborative, fast-paced, and dedicated to creating a positive experience for both patients and staff. Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and team-oriented Medical Assistant (Float) to join our team full-time. This role is unique in that you will be cross trained to support both clinical (back office) and administrative (front office) operations. This is a FLOAT position, and candidates must be comfortable and confident working in both patient care and front desk environments as needed. Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable) At least 1 year of experience in a medical office setting Understanding of both clinical and administrative workflows Willingness and flexibility to float between front and back-office duties Strong communication and organizational skills Key Responsibilities Back Office (Clinical Duties): Room patients and obtain vital signs Assist providers with patient exams and procedures Administer injections and perform basic clinical tasks Perform EKGs, POCT testing, and specimen collection (MUST) Phlebotomy (MUST) Document patient information accurately in EMR Maintain clean, stocked, and organized exam rooms Front Office (Administrative Duties): Greet and check-in/check-out patients Answer phones and manage appointment scheduling Verify insurance and collect co-pays Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry Assist with Prior Authorizations Provide excellent customer service to all patients What We're Looking For A team player with a positive, can-do attitude Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multitasking environment Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized Professional, dependable, and patient-focused Willing to step in wherever needed to support the team Why Join Our Team?
