Medical Assistant (Sleep Medicine)
00 per hour, depending on experience About Us We are an established private practice specializing in Sleep Medicine, located in a beautiful office near the Maitland Boulevard exit off I-4. We are a small, close-knit practice with one physician, three advanced practice providers, and our medical support staff. Teamwork, flexibility, and a positive attitude are very important to our practice. We are looking for a dependable and motivated Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is professional, friendly, organized, and enjoys providing excellent patient care. This position will include cross-training in reception and scheduling. As a small practice, our team works together and assists with different areas of the office as needed. Responsibilities Perform patient intake, including obtaining vital signs, documenting medical history, and medication reconciliation. Prepare patients for examination. Prepare and maintain examination rooms and ensure supplies are stocked. Enter vital signs, medications, and other patient information into the eClinicalWorks (eCW) EMR. Submit DME orders. Download CPAP data — training will be provided. Return patient phone calls and address patient concerns appropriately. Maintain a professional attitude and commitment to excellent patient care. Assist with reception and scheduling duties as needed as part of required cross-training. Qualifications Medical Assistant Certification required. Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Knowledge of basic medical terminology and anatomy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Professional appearance and attitude. Compassionate and patient-focused. Knowledge of basic medical office procedures. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and HIPAA compliance certification required. Ability to work independently and as part of a small team. Willingness to learn and take on different responsibilities as needed. Schedule Part-Time
