Overview Survivors Pathway is looking for a Medical Assistant to join our small primary care clinic. We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and organized team member who enjoys working directly with patients and supporting a busy clinical environment. Responsibilities Room patients and obtain vital signs. Take medical histories and update medications/allergies. Assist the provider during patient visits. Perform basic clinical procedures, lab testing, and specimen collection as needed. Prepare exam rooms and maintain medical supplies. Assist with referrals, prescriptions, lab orders, and patient follow-up. Document patient information accurately in the EMR. Assist with scheduling, insurance verification, and other front-office duties as needed. Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements. Qualifications Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred. Medical Assistant certification preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Reliable, professional, and compassionate. Ability to multitask and work well in a small clinic setting.
