Responsibilities Greet patients warmly with an upbeat attitude, manage patient intake processes, including collecting medical histories and verifying insurance information. Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration. Prepare examination rooms with necessary supplies and ensure cleanliness to maintain a safe and welcoming environment. Assist healthcare providers during procedures. Support medical office management tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and maintaining inventory of supplies. Skills Beginning knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and ICD coding to accurately support clinical workflows. Experience with EMR/EHR systems management and electronic health records documentation is helpful but not required. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically across diverse populations. Ability to perform vital signs assessment accurately and support intake procedures efficiently while maintaining confidentiality.
