We're known not just for surgical excellence, but for a best-in-class recovery experience, supported by our proprietary Ogee Recovery product line (FatVive, FibroGuard, Ogee Roller, EZBra) and comprehensive patient education program. We're looking for a Medical Assistant who's passionate about patient care and wants to be part of a fast-growing, high-visibility aesthetic practice. Position Summary The Medical Assistant will support our surgeon and clinical team across consultations, in-office procedures, and the recovery journey that sets Ogee Plastic Surgery apart. This role blends traditional clinical duties with patient education responsibilities tied to our recovery protocols and product line. Key Responsibilities Room patients, take vitals, and prepare charts for consultations, pre-op visits, and post-op follow-ups Assist during in-office procedures Prepare and sterilize exam/procedure rooms and maintain supply stock Take before-and-after photos per practice protocol (photos may be used in patient education or, with consent, marketing materials) Walk patients through pre-op and post-op instructions using Ogee's recovery guides, including proper use of Ogee Recovery Products Educate patients on recovery nutrition and timelines (drawing on Ogee's BBL recovery handbook and procedure-specific guides for BBL, lipo, tummy tuck, and breast surgery) Maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant documentation in the EMR system Manage inventory of medical supplies and Ogee Recovery products Support prescription refill requests and pharmacy communication as directed by the provider Occasionally assist the content/marketing team by facilitating patient testimonials, UGC clips, or photo/video consent for Ogee's social channels Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) ; equivalent experience considered 2+ years in a medical or aesthetic/plastic surgery setting preferred, body contouring experience a plus Strong bedside manner, comfortable guiding patients through detailed recovery protocols Bilingual (English/Spanish) Comfortable with EMR systems and basic administrative tasks BLS/CPR certification required
