Job Description

Bilingual Medical Assistant needed for our Pediatric Primary Care office in Ocoee, FL. Applicant must have worked in Pediatrics or Primary Care setting for a minimum of 2 years. Candidate will have excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic. Excellent salary and benefits provided. The job's duties include: Rooming patients. Vitals and measurements. Giving and documenting immunizations. Appointment scheduling. Basic lab procedures. Communicating effectively with co-workers, patients and their families. Other related paperwork and forms.
Requirements:
Bilingual in English/Spanish High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program. Minimum of 2 years experience as an M.A. in Pediatrics or Primary Care. Familiar with Florida Shots database. Knowledge of Florida Medicaid plans. Self-motivated, great organizational and communication skills. Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks. Friendly, outgoing and empathetic. Strong data entry and phone skills. Dependable and capable of working 5 days a week, consistently. eClinical Works software experience a plus. •Must be able to pass a Level 2 background screening.
