Coastal Health Primary Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our growing team in Orange Park. Responsibilities Room patients and obtain vital signs. Document patient history and update electronic medical records (EMR). Assist providers with examinations and in-office procedures. Administer injections, vaccines, and medications as directed. Perform EKGs, point-of-care testing, and specimen collection as needed. Prepare exam rooms and maintain cleanliness and organization. Coordinate patient referrals, prior authorizations, and follow-up appointments. Answer patient questions and provide excellent customer service. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all clinical safety standards. Qualifications Current Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA, RMA, or equivalent). Previous experience in a primary care or family medicine practice preferred. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR). Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy clinical setting. Positive attitude with a commitment to outstanding patient care. Current BLS/CPR certification preferred.
