Job Description

We are seeking a Medical Assistant with back/front office experience to join a concierge primary care practice. The applicant should be a team player, have excellent communication skills, and have medical assistant skills in handling phlebotomy and working with commercial labs to process specimen. Computer skills are a must.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures
  • Perform basic clinical tasks such as taking vital signs and documenting patient information
  • Assist with office based point of care diagnostic testing
  • Handle patient inquiries and provide education on treatment plans
  • Phlebotomy
  • Obtaining ECG's
  • Maintain medical supplies and equipment in examination rooms
Requirements:
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant certification
  • Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
  • Knowledge of coding practices for medical billing
