Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 40 hours per weekCompensation:
$20-$22 per hour, based on experience and qualifications About the Position We are seeking a professional, compassionate, and dependable Medical Assistant to join our OB/GYN practice in Pembroke Pines. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, a positive attitude, and a strong commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care. Previous OB/GYN experience is preferred , but motivated candidates with strong clinical skills and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Room patients and obtain accurate vital signs and medical histories Assist the physician with examinations and office procedures Assist with pelvic examinations and other gynecologic procedures Perform phlebotomy, injections, and other clinical tasks within scope of practice Prepare patients for procedures and provide appropriate instructions Collect laboratory specimens Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) Assist with referrals, prescriptions, and follow-up care Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients Maintain exam rooms and clinical areas in a clean and organized manner Follow all office policies, safety procedures, and HIPAA requirements Provide support to the physician and clinical team as needed Qualifications Medical Assistant experience preferred OB/GYN experience strongly preferred CMA or RMA certification preferred High school diploma or equivalent Strong interpersonal and communication skills Professional, dependable, and compassionate manner Ability to multitask and work effectively in a busy medical office Experience with electronic medical records preferred Phlebotomy and injection experience preferred Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Benefits Competitive hourly compensation Paid Time Off (PTO) Health insurance 401(k) retirement plan with employer contribution Professional and supportive work environment Monday-Friday schedule Opportunity to become an important part of a patient-focused OB/GYN practice How to Apply Please submit your resume highlighting your medical assistant experience, clinical skills, and any OB/GYN experience.
