This is a full-time position Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The ideal candidate will have front and back office experience. We are willing to train the right individual. We believe in bringing people together, inspiring change and making a difference in people's lives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide direct patient care (vital signs, administering injections, assisting physicians, blood draws, EKG, Spirometry, etc.) Enter medical information correctly and concisely into EMR system (health history, medical reconciliation, etc) Patients refills and follow up calls Provide patient education Demonstrates positive interpersonal relationships in dealing with fellow clinic employees, managers and providers Ensures frequent communication with front desk staff to provide high-quality patient care Follow safety procedures in compliance with OSHA and state health department guidelines Cleaning/Prepping exam and treatment rooms
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Medical Assistant certification Bilingual One year experience Able to multi task Organized Quick learner Positive attitude Outgoing and energetic Team player Work well under pressure Great communication skills.
