Assignment Length:

8 Weeks (Temporary) Medical Professionals is currently seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support a PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) clinic in Pinellas Park, FL. This is an excellent opportunity for a Medical Assistant who enjoys working with older adults in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. Responsibilities Room patients and obtain vital signs Assist physicians and advanced practice providers during patient visits Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection Perform EKGs and administer treatments as directed Administer injections under provider supervision Prepare exam rooms and maintain supplies Document patient information in the electronic medical record Schedule appointments and answer patient phone calls Process medical records and assist with referrals Support patients with basic needs while in the clinic Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Current CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) Minimum of 1 year of experience working with frail or elderly patients Medical Assistant certification preferred Phlebotomy and EKG experience preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance required Schedule Monday-Friday 40 hours per week Onsite in Pinellas Park, FL Assignment Details Temporary 8-week assignment
