Assist physicians with in office procedures. About us Suncoast Vein Clinic is a small clinic in Port Orange, FL is looking for "
CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANTS
" to join our professional, fast-paced and supportive small office team to care for our patients.
Our work environment includes:
Modern office setting Competitive salary Off major holidays and weekends Paid travel Paid time off Health insurance Our main office is in Port Orange, FL. We travel to Ormond Beach, FL on Tuesday afternoons. And we travel to Palm Coast, FL on the first Wednesday of every month. The ideal candidate should be able to type 35-60 words per minute (candidates who can not type 35 words per minute should not apply for this position) and able to travel to the other offices (need to have their own car). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing medical-surgical support to our healthcare team and patients. This includes preparing patients for examinations, taking vital signs and assisting with minor in office surgical procedures. The ideal candidate should have a passion for helping others and be a team player.
Responsibilities:
Perform basic typing 35 words per minute minimum requirement/computer skills. Collect and document patient information and vital signs. Assist with patient education and discharge planning. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Ensure patient safety at all times. Assist patient with scheduling procedures and follow up appointments. Educate patient about procedures and medications. Some clerical duties such as faxes, voicemails, documentation Assist front desk staff when needed (taking payments, answering phones, returning calls, scheduling appointments)
