Responsibilities:

Room patients and obtain vitals, medical history, and medication reconciliation Perform patient intake and prepare patients for provider visits Draw blood and prepare specimens for lab processing as needed Assist providers during exams and procedures Document accurately in the EMR Support clinic flow and standardized clinical workflows Maintain clean, organized exam rooms Provide excellent patient service and support Triage clinical messages from patients, including phone calls Obtain relevant records prior to patient visits

Qualifications:

Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/CCMA or RMA) Active certification required At least 1-2 years of outpatient clinical experience EMR experience Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-based environment Preferred but not required: Rheumatology or specialty practice experience Phlebotomy experience preferred

Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
