Maintain and follow standard quality, safety, environmental, and infection control policies and procedures; Record patients' medical history, vital statistics, or information such as test results in medical records; Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean; Help physicians examine and treat patients, handing them instruments to performing;H elp develop individual treatment plans and strategies; Assist licensed practitioners during patient examinations and treatments by preparing materials and handing instruments as needed; Collect and document patients general health information and lifestyle data; Collect medical histories and general health and lifestyle information from patients; Maintain detailed and complete records of health care plans and prognoses; Educate patients on topics, such as meditation, ergonomics, stretching, exercise, nutrition, the healing process, breathing, and relaxation techniques; Asist on dispense herbal formulas and inform patients of dosages and frequencies, treatment duration, possible side effects, and drug interactions; Apply heat or cold therapy to patients using materials, such as heat pads, hydrocollator packs, warm compresses, cold compresses, heat lamps, and vapor coolants; Provide patients with instructions regarding dosage, frequency, and usage of supplements as directed by the supervising practitioner; Ensure treatment areas and equipment are properly maintained and ready for use; Support clinic operations by ordering supplies and maintaining inventory levels.
