Role Description:
We are seeking a full-time, on-site Receptionist/Medical Assistant to join our team at Mango Wellness in St. Cloud, FL. In this role, you will be essential to the smooth operation of our wellness center. Responsibilities include handling phone calls, managing reception duties, assisting with medical tasks, performing clerical duties, and maintaining effective communication. The ideal candidate will be a team player with 2-3 years of experience in a doctor's office or healthcare environment, with proficiency in verifying insurance plans and scheduling patient appointments effectively. Salary varies based on experience.
Qualifications:
Experience:
2-3 years in a doctor's office or healthcare environment.
Insurance Verification:
Proficiency in verifying insurance plans is required.
Scheduling:
Ability to effectively schedule patient appointments and manage the calendar.
Phone Etiquette & Communication:
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential.
Customer Service:
Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle patient inquiries and concerns professionally.
Clerical Skills:
Experience in receptionist duties, including managing appointments and clerical tasks.
Multitasking & Prioritization:
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Organization & Administration:
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Medical Terminology:
Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
Education:
