Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Medical Assistant/Receptionist to join our healthcare team. This vital role combines front-office administrative support with clinical assistance to ensure seamless patient experiences and efficient clinic operations. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing appointments, patient intake, and vital signs, while also supporting clinical tasks such as basic medical procedures and documentation. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow within a multidisciplinary healthcare setting dedicated to excellence and compassionate service. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with check-in procedures using Electronic Health Record (EHR) E clinicals Obtain patient histories, record vital signs, and document symptoms accurately to support clinical assessments. Perform EKGs Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks such as administering medications under supervision, and performing basic life support when needed. IV infusions supervision, Weight loss patient follow up, Aesthetics procedures. Manage appointment scheduling, coordinate follow-up visits, and handle patient inquiries efficiently. Support medical documentation including ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), anatomy knowledge, and physiology details for accurate record-keeping. Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas. Requirements English and Spanish proficiency Proven experience in a healthcare environment such as outpatient clinics. Knowledge of internal medicine Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required Familiarity with EHR systems for accurate documentation and patient management. Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding, and medication administration protocols. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to handle intake processes smoothly and professionally. Ability to work effectively in clinic environments. Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining medical records and supporting clinical workflows. $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
