FULL-TIME

dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare professionals in the specialty office setting.

Responsibilities:

Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments. Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and patient symptoms accurately. Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are available. Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures as instructed. Administer injections under the direction of healthcare providers. Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and scheduling of follow-up appointments. Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and clinic areas. Obtain MRI and medication authorizations as ordered by physican and/or extender.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a medical assistant or in a similar role in a healthcare setting. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or relevant experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and basic computer skills. Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
