This position offers an encouraging and unrushed smaller office environment where your clinical skills and ability to work with others will spring to the forefront. Spending individual time with each patient as they need, we can then as a team address the complete care of our patient's health care concerns. It is our policy, to avoid worrying about any predetermined outside numbers or daily quotas as seen in many other offices. Come check out our established healthcare team and see for yourself. Your role here will offer you the necessary resources to thoroughly learn about your patients in an established and well respected membership practice. A significant part of this position involves answering incoming phone calls. Applicants should be comfortable managing a high volume of calls and communicating professionally. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally both personally and on the phone, verify their personal information, and facilitate a smooth, welcoming intake processes Measure and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature Assist with patient examinations and procedures by preparing exam rooms and managing necessary instruments or supplies Complement the physician's role with nursing and clerical tasks such as medication administration, immunizations, referrals and prescription refills Maintain detailed documentation within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, including medical history, medications, and health maintenance updates Manage patient flow efficiently while ensuring compliance and professionalism regarding patient confidentiality and safety protocols Work together with other team members to support administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, insurance and billing verification, and medical records management Prior Authorizations Phlebotomy and tasks associated with drawing labs Experience Prior experience and certification working in outpatient clinics and/or private practice--either large or small--is desirable Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and diagnostic nomenclature is helpful Previous medication administration and EHR experience is beneficial but not mandatory; training can be provided for motivated candidates Demonstrated ability to work with your fellow team members and provide individualized patient care across diverse populations including geriatrics and adolescents Forward thinking, responsible team players committed to delivering exceptional personalized care to our patients without a stopwatch over your head will thrive here.
