We welcome applications from ASCP-certified Pathologists' Assistants, certification-eligible graduates, and experienced grossing professionals with substantial experience handling complex cancer specimens . Schedule:

Generally 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m., with some flexibility required. Weekend, holiday or evening coverage may occasionally be needed. Responsibilities Under the direct or indirect supervision of a pathologist, you will: Accession, dissect, grossly examine, describe, and submit histologic samples from a full range of anatomic pathology specimens Gross complex surgical and oncologic specimens in accordance with established protocols Perform frozen sections and assist with other intraoperative consultations Verify specimen identity and maintain accuracy throughout specimen handling Produce clear, accurate gross descriptions using dictation tools and standardized templates when appropriate Support specialized hospital procedures and protocols, including cancer research studies Safely operate the Faxitron and other laboratory equipment Train and mentor students and newly hired team members Join Our Team At KWB, we value integrity, excellence, inclusion, and teamwork—and we believe work can be both professionally rewarding and enjoyable.
